Yeah that's what I do. Takes awhile for some of them but I basically use the basic shapes and fonts as a guide and build off them.

Thanks it's also a lot of layering and frustration shifting things around to get them to line up. Usually half way through a logo i figure something out and have to redo the whole first half lol
