MLB 16 the show Diamond Dynasty logos and requests

I had this logo in The Show 15 (off the vault, changed the colors around), and I can't for the life of me figure out how to recreate it. I have the entire file on 15 and figured I could just copy every layer (letter, shape, etc) and it's size/coordinates onto 16, but it's not working.

For example when I get to the letters the original has 2 sets of black, a white on top of black, and a grey on top of white, all with the same coordinates. When I put them in the top layer just covers up the previous ones instead of creating the outline effect. Same issue with the bear and the outer ring.

I'm not a logo expert by any means but I'm thinking it has something to do with the masking tool (just a guess.) I could upload the file to 15 if that would help you recreate it, but if it's too complex or time consuming, an explanation of how to do it would be great so I can try again myself.

My team is the Indiana Anteaters. For the lettering on the front of the jerseys, maybe something like the Braves script, but make it say Anteaters. Thanks.
