Pack odds no good

The best part is that I know for an absolute fact the OP hasn't opened more than 50 packs so he's basing his claim on a very small sample size. Having a results oriented opinion coupled with a small sample size isn't a very scientific approach to forming a hypothesis.

Has anyone opened the Rank 1 captain card packs?

What kind of cards are they supposed to pay out?

I'm tempted to open the David Ortiz pack if it would actually pay out some kind of special Ortiz card.

Think it gears the cards towards that Captains missions if i remember correctly.. Only 4 cards inside too.

Guess I'll stay away from captain packs then if it's only 4 random players who qualify for the captain's requirements.

Ortiz's captain requirement is having bad fielding ratings, so it makes no sense to pay 2,500 stubs for 4 bad fielders.

I have pulled two diamonds (both equipment though), Waino, and Carlos Correa in roughly 35 packs.

This is waaaayyy better luck than last year. Last year I wouldn't bother with packs, because I'd bought 50 and got like two things, period, out of them. This year, I've pulled 8 or 9 players I really like through just the 35 packs.

I sold the diamond equipment for Mookie/Syndergaard/Capps/Rosenthal/Osuna.

It's not a great team, but I have it within 10 hours of play, and good pack luck. If I could have a team this good in 10 hours last year, I think I would have played DD more often. Conquest is going to get a lot of play from me thanks to good luck.
