So far. Best live player has been Jung Ho Kang. Especially since he's a five star boost right now. Best FB player has been Jimmy Rollins. Just a ton of pop from both sides of the plate. Along with a ton of speed and solid Defense.

Switch hitting Emmanuel Burriss vs lefties has been a beast for me. Hitting over .600 vs lefties in conquest mode for me. Total trash vs righties though. I use him at second base vs lefties doing the Ortiz missions.

Re: Overrated/Underrated DD Players

I'm just getting started with this mode, and I'm working on a low budget (roughly 500 stubs to play with at the moment), so I'm trying to get by on some bargain players...

So far I'm 4-1 (the 1 loss was a game that froze in the 1st inning) and have had a lot of success with:

Curtis Granderson (picked him up for like 20 stubs and for the price, his combination of power and decent speed is nice; plus he has a good matchup rating right now)
Jumbo Diaz (mix his slider in with a 99 MPH fastball and he's nearly unhittable)
Tim Lincecum (Anyone that's cheap and has a 12-6 curve and a good change-up seems to be pretty money)

And I can't remember his name, but I picked up a 73 overall knuckleballer from the Red Sox to stash at the bottom of my rotation.

Buster Posey has been a big dissapointment for me. I couldn't get anything going with him and I was deep at catcher so I sold him.

Re: Overrated/Underrated DD Players

I have no second baseman on my team so it threw in Jimmy Paredas. I am killing it with him. His rating is only a 68 but I have hit over .400 with him on All-star, he is a switch hitter, his speed is ok (upper 60's) and his fielding isnt too awful (only 1 error). If you're a low budget team or a low budget person he has been very viable for me.

Cespedes has also been tearing the cover off the ball.

Outta the bullpen, Caminero has been awesome for me. Upper 90's fastball with a nasty cutter and slider. Pretty solid for a mid 70's bronze

Diamond Donaldson sucks for me. He's hitting below .200. I might sell him and use his throwback instead

Paredes can play all over the place too. Great bench piece.
