PlayStation Plus?

Do I really have to pay $50 for PlayStation Plus just to have access to Battle Royale? Is it worth it just for that access?

You do not have to have playstation plus for battle royal.

Yes, you need PS Plus to play anything online on PS4.

It used to be well worth the cost because of all the extras you used to get. There are free games and discounts every month for PS Plus subscribers but they've really gone down in quality over the last year.

You can get a free 2-day trial to decide if you feel it's worth it or not.

I really only play The Show, 2K, and Madden, so the free games aren't a selling point for me. That's a bummer, already paying a fortune for the game itself.

Are you sure? If I go to DD and click on Battle Royale I'm immediately promoted to purchase PlayStation Plus. Am I doing this wrong?

You need plus for any online gaming that isn't a mmo with a sub
