How do you discover cards

When you go to the Flashbacks section on PS4 you'll see which cards have been discovered. As far as I know, I've only recognized cardinalbird5 as the only one from OS who has discovered a card. But, there are a few users who have multiple discoveries!

How do guys discover these? Are these simply discovered when someone obtains them as a reward for the first time?

PS. Please don't spoil things in this thread. If the card isn't listed anywhere in the inventory section (PS4) than it "doesn't exist"

ya, I'm pretty sure it's just the first person to obtain the card

I discovered Duke and Byverlin for pitt ots the first person to earn the cards name there
