Changing created DD PLAYER POSITION

I made a mistake by making my DD created player a 2nd baseman, I know we can't change the primary position but even when I try changing the secondary position it won't save. any ideas?
I don't want to have that out of position player ratings effect

You need to completely take him out of your lineup and off of your bench. Then when you add him you can add him anywhere and that will be his primary position
