Trying to figure out the best order to complete missions. My question is...once you complete a 40 man team are you allowed to then feed those players for your feed mission, or are they locked in?

Yes, you can feed them. Early in the year they said no but they quickly changed their minds

Thank you. That helps me now decide to grind the innings, then complete the collection for the team, feed away all but the top-tier. Thanks!
