Does anyone use Analog hitting in H2H?

I'm constantly switching between zone and directional because each one annoys me after awhile. So I'm thinking of trying analog because the though of one stick doing everything is appealing.

If I understand it right you pull back and then push forward either straight, left or right to go with or pull the pitch?

Does anyone use this method in H2H? I'm curious if slight lag becomes an issue since its a much longer process than just hitting a button.

I use Zone analog with the stride on and find that the best and never have any problems.

I assume pure analog would be the same but like directional, methods where you don't actually have to aim at the ball should be banned online.

I tried zone plus analog last night which seems pretty fun.

You don't really have to aim with zone either though so...

I used pure analog for a while back before I made the switch to zone plus analog with stride. I found it just as inconsistent as directional, which is what prompted me to take the time to learn zone. It's definitely worth it, never going back.

I'm not a fan of pure analog, mostly because I find that the sticks on the PS4 aren't reliable. There were too many times I'd be like "Wait that's most definitely not where I swung"
