Beware of scam

[PSimp21]

Received a message on PSN, telling me to email [email protected] and tell them I bought cards and they went missing. They said the cards would show up in a pack the next day.

Knowing this is BS just from the email address, I messaged them and asked what they needed, and sure enough they asked for my psn login to complete the transaction.

I hope none of you fall for this phishing attack. SDS, Sony, **** anyone, will not ask for your log in info ever.

Yeah I got this yesterday and blocked them. Can't believe folks are doing such a lowly thing to get ahead.

After some hate messages I've listened to and knowing DDOS-ers are out there, nothing surprises me. Sadly.

Ya I got the same message called him out on it and he kept denying he was a scammer but it was too obvious... really anyone dumb enough to fall for this deserves to lose their account

What is the end game here? The scammer logs into your account and sells all your cards? What will the scammer get out of this? Its not like he can trade himself your diamonds for commons.

The end game may not be The Show.

They would have access to your PSN account, which could have a credit card attached. Download the client for another game, one which doesn't use PSN login info (FFXIV, Overwatch...), buy a whole bunch of a premium currency or whatever other add-ons, and transfer that to whatever account you want. For instance, you may be able to advertise that you're selling a $19.99 Overwatch loot box for $15, and the buyer has to give you their Battle.net login and remove their authenticator. Not only did you get $15 but you can also log in and see if they have money in their Battle.net wallet, a credit card attached to that, or any items of value in their WoW account, and you can start a new cycle.
