The weekly bonus XP is or is not being given thread

I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread dedicated to let others here know if the game is giving the weekly bonus XP. I almost don't want to play the game unless I get the bonus. I can play a game on legend and receive around 5000 XP when the bonus is going and like 250 when it's not. It's more beneficial for me to only play the game when the bonus is being given.

Post here whether the game is currently giving the bonus or is not giving it. I have no idea when the bonus happens and for how long.

I believe if one puts the controller down for a few days and then comes back to play MLB The Show they see that a weekly bonus. If you play every day you won't see it.

I thought it was on Friday every week? At least that seems to be the case for me, it will also show up on consecutive days until it's exhausted.

It was my understanding the Weekly Bonus would be more for the casual player who only plays at random times during the week...With that said, you'd still receive a bonus until it was 'exhausted', as others have stated...I've no clue as to what day of the week it begins, but I know I've played every day this week and quit receiving the bonus yesterday...I then did my best to embarrass the CPU in Conquest by playing a single game on Rookie and winning 27-0...Take that, bonus - until it 'showed me' by giving me a 56 FA post reward in return for the shellacking...

I can confirm the bonus is working. Just finished a game against the Yetis.

I really need this to come back so I can get Thor. I'm 10 levels away and haven't seen the bonus in a few days. Usually I only don't get it on Wed/Thurs.

I believe the bonus experience only lasts for X number of games each week and then it doesn't come back until Saturday.

I haven't paid enough attention to notice how many games it lasts. But I'd guess it's somewhere around 10 games.
