New To the Show (Dynasty)

Hey guys. I haven't played the MLB the Show in many many years but am looking forward to getting back in. I love this Diamond Dynasty concept and think I will be mostly doing that. I don't have a lot of time to play so I know it will take a while to build a team without spending money on stubs but that's fine. My main question is the fact that a buddy of mine will be doing the same and I'm wondering how can we play each other often with our DD teams and will we earn stubs for it?

In 16 there was an option in diamond dynasty menu to play friends from your friends list. I believe you still earn stubs and cards after the game. However, in 16 i dont believe they were considered ranked games. Meaning win or lose it didnt affect your ranking against a friend ( i could be wrong). This could change in 17, havent heard anything.

There is a play a friend option in Diamond Dynasty and mc4679 is correct it doesn't affect your rating at all you can also play it on any setting you like.
