Best Way to Hit Doubles

What's the best way to hit doubles for these stupid missions? I'm currently doing the Ian Kinsler player epic. I usually play on rookie and use guess pitch and power swing, but I end up hitting a lot of homers. Does it just take time?

I probably wouldnt play on rookie, maybe veteran, make sure you big a big park with gaps.

I cant help saying it every time someone brings up a double mission, but these missions are so dumb. It should be extra base hits. I shouldnt be mad if I hit a homerun or be forced to stop at second when I can get 3.

Griffith stadium is superb for this, and so is Red Rock Canyon. High, far walls. That's what I'm banking on for this danged 10 doubles with hardware players challenge

The 10 hardware doubles were a pain. I ended up getting all 10 with the dodgers 15 man reward, Eric Karros. He was surprisingly really good and I hit a ton of homers with him on my way to the doubles.

Same here, I was shocked how good he was! And cosign using Red Rock for doubles, great stadium, my go to grind stadium for anything but homers.

Yes, I found Karros to be a really good player at his 72 rating.
I would suggest to choose a mediocre hitting (with low power and decent contact) bronze player with solid speed. That way he won't be able to hit many homers, but can turn most outfield hits into doubles.

Might toss Karros in then. Right now I'm using Cepeda, Carew, and Coghlan. Or the Killer C's

Off the green monster in boston, also that stadium has some gaps on the other side of the field for the ball to bounce around to give more time to get doubles.
