Griffey Rookie Mission

I FINALLY was able to get the 1 double, 1 BB and 1 run with Griffey during an Extra Innings game last night ... and then I received the post-game message that I had lost connection with the server.

Do Extra Innings games even count toward that mission? I need to know how mad I should be right now.

Extra Innings games do not count for any program missions.

They don't count.
It needs to be vs.CPU mode.

What is the point of the Extra Innings games then? Just grinding out basic stats?

It doesn't have much purpose anymore since people used to exploit it in the past.

You still get rewards. Check out your friendlies mission screen.

there are occasionally daily missions that require extra innings as well.
