The Trout

After a crazy afternoon of trading, I managed to turn my 30k into 250k and bought myself Mike Trout. I'm a big fan, as I'm sure everyone is, but the big question is do lock him in? I could buy almost an entire division with the stubs he's worth, but he's Mike Trout and he's better than anyone else. I'd also get an absolutely beastly starting pitcher in Nolan Ryan and a pretty tasty reliever in K-Rod.

So would you sell him, or lock him and maybe aim to complete the AL West and get that Ichiro card? I'm tempted as I'd love to have Altuve and that ridiculous Wagner card at some point in the future

How in the world did you go from 30K to 250K in one day?

The market has just been crazy today. It's been a perfect storm of more packs meaning people selling off cards cheaply all day and 11k stubs for everyone meaning people have been buying high. I was making 1-2k a flip, sometimes in a matter of seconds, it was mental. Never seen anything like it.

Not complaining though, it's probably twice or even three times what I've made in the previous month playing games and doing missions

I wouldn't complain either. I need to get back into the market. Margins have been too narrow for me to really get into it.

What are you looking for? What have been hot cards to flip?

Re: The Trout

Well if I tell you that I kind of screw myself don't I/

I've found the margins too small most of this year so not bothered, but today things opened waaay up in certain markets due to the compensation. The only real predictable money I've been making previously this year is just taking advantage of all the people who sell players who they hoped would get an upgrade but didn't.

You can flip the Mother's Day ones all day right now.
