    Hardware Mission

So Chris Coghlan, and Jeff Bagwell are up for reasonable price on the market and I've acquired Hanley Ramirez by completing the Marlins mission, but what other hardware players are there out there that are attainable to complete this part of the Griffey mission?

    Re: Hardware Mission

Do the NL Central Conquest one first so you get 86 Geovany Soto. But I had 86 Orlando Cepeda(tickets), 82 Rod Carew(not sure, tickets?), and a couple more. another bargain hardware player is Eddie Murray at 80 OVR, again tickets. I'll scroll through my roster and name off all the hardware players and edit this post

C: 86 Geovany Soto (Reward for NL Central Conquest Challenge)
    1B: 86 Orlando Cepeda (Tickets)
2B: 82 Rod Carew (Walks reward)
    3B:
    SS:
    LF: 81 Chris Coglhan (Market)
CF: 95 Andrew McCutchen (Pirates reward)
RF: 94 Reggie Jackson(Conquest completion reward)

    Alternative players
    1B 72 Eric Karros (collect 15 Dodgers)
    1B/COF 80 Eddie Murray (Tickets)
    1B 81 Jeff Bagwell (Market)

You won't fill out a lineup, but this will be some solid players for that

The Jack McDowell you get for completing the CWS collection is another one if you need a pitcher.

Dude, you're the man. Thank you so much.

Did you manually go through your inventory team by team to check for these or is there an easier way to sort that i'm missing out? lol

The Rod Carew you get for X number of walks, not Tickets.

            Re: Hardware Mission

I did a quick thinking with my head, then went to DaddyLeagues and just filtered cards by Hardware and got the whole list. Seriously though, do Conquest first if you can. The Soto is nice, and the Reggie Jackson is fantastically good at the plate.

You can also buy Cepeda right now(Assuming everyone gets the same ticket items) for 800

Thanks for the correction. I just assumed because he had no market value I bought him

              Re: Hardware Mission

If you haven't done the conquest missions then I'd definitely recommend picking up Bagwell to use while you do it. He's cheap and you can always just sell him when you get there and he offers a bit of everything. Hits double, triples, a few homers and he can run very well for a first baseman, definitely capable of a steal every now and then (though he will get caught at times as he sometimes just doesn't get a jump at all)

I had this problem for a while. Play on All-Star, and refuse to swing until you have 2 strikes on you
