Market Sell Problem

my first year playing DD so maybe i'm just doing something wrong but every time i try to sell someone who's not on my roster it says "the item is currently in use. if you wish to sell it you must unequip or unsquad it"

i've noticed that if I put a player on my roster once it does not allow me to sell him once I take them off my roster. Has any one else had this issue or am I just missing something?

Is he a locked player. Does his card have a no sell circle on it?

nope, here is an example using kevin gausman. he is not in my rotation

Having same issue. Unsquaded guys but still can’t sell them. Literally every player has an event icon. I’ve sold others but still can’t sell guys from DD

I don't understand this. Can't sell multiple cards for same as mentioned reason. If it is due to the event (that seems to always be there) how long does it last?

EDIT Can't sell Britton and he is not in an event, or sell locked or on my squad. Although it says he is.
