Can't get 3 hits with Robles

I've used Robles in 7 complete 9 inning games against CPU Veteran. Can't buy 3 hits. For an 87 Diamond player that is so unusual. First time I put Darwin Barney in the lineup (he just need 2 assists for Christ's Sake) I got 3 hits - single, double, home run. Completed his Program and dropped him out of the lineup. But,the point is, what is the deal with Robles? Anyone else believe he's a DD (Diamond Dud)?

Keep trying and be patient. You're pressing. I had the guy on first steal second to move the 2B out of the way and I hit three ground balls right to the open area.

I did fine with him. Like Bryan said you are pressing just keep at it. Maybe it is his batting stance you don't like, you just have to get used to it. Then the hits will come

Robles is a diamond player for his speed and fielding - not his bat. You can see that on his player card. If you consider him a "dud" because of his silver-level hitting ratings, that's your prerogative.

Anyway, if you are intent on completing that mission, I'd echo what the others said above.

Sometimes it feels like this game won’t let you complete a mission other times you just get snake bit. I haven’t been able to get the 3 hits with either worse I unlocked the Diamond Hanley Ramirez a long time ago and I still can’t get 1 HR 3 RBI with him. Snake bit

That might be the case...BUT I really feel like people "press" with guys they need to complete missions with.

I just had this happen with the 82 Pujols. Took me like 10 AB to get that last hit I needed. I was swinging at everything and pressing.

Play rookie vs the Rockies at Coors you should be able to get 4 or 5 hits a game with virtually anybody, bat him leadoff and stack your line up and you'll get more plate appearances. I must average like 30 runs a game there It's where I get all my tough hitting missions done
