When players attempt a steal, it is way too easy to go back to base once they can tell that you're slide stepping or pitch out because you sniffed out that they would steal.

Absolutely absurd that ANYBODY can take off to steal and then turn around instantly to be safe when you try to throw them out.

Its awful, anytime you pitch out or slide step when theyre stealing they just go back, its obnoxious.

At this point I throw to first base on almost every steal attempt. My % of catching runners returning to the base is way higher than actually catching someone at 2nd.

I rarely play an online game this year, but if someone takes a lead, I step off. Every. Single. Time.

This was an issue last year and it went unaddressed. Two other issues that go with this.

1) when you guess right and pitch out and throw to second but the runner turns around your guy covering the bag still applies a tag to nobody allowing the opponent an easy retreat.

2) when you get someone caught in a run down if he can survive long enough one of your guys will just throw a baby lob toss allowing him to get to a base easy.

Both issues last year as well
