Six position players in the POTM programs so far and four of them have been shortstops. Each program has had a SS card you earn that is superseded by the final POTM reward card.

I can't really find any logic in that decision on their part.

I'm shifting to mostly playing offline with lineups consisting entirely of players from one team (except for using my God Squad for Conquest or Play vs CPU games for programs) so these cards are pretty much all going to be fun and useful for me at some point.


One thing that would have been cool is if they did new monthly cards with flashbacks or even legends. It would be a cool way to maybe work in an higher rated card for a guy who might not get a diamond or whose best card might be really hard to access, or is with a team he's not represented on. Like give us May 1998 Mike Piazza on the Marlins.
