Im gonna get on for 30 mins at midnight but gotta wake up at 500am...im gonna open my packs, then maybe use my pre-order stubs in the market for some 42s and then just snoop around. I'm sure the 30 mins will feel like 5

For OS stuff, I will put up the traditional stuff first once the game launches. So I'll have a post for the Event, first Ranked Seasons, first BR, the first Headliners pack, and the 1st Inning Program. Basically all the "live" stuff that we'd be getting now if the game were already out earlier like usual.

The first thing I do will be a Cubs MTO on HOF or Legend to get a grasp on gameplay and presentation in general, so I'm going to get a jump on TA right away in the process. IDK what I'm doing beyond that yet.

Just got back and finished watching.

Really good stuff. I mean, absolutely incredible. They added so many reasons to actually play the game and you no longer get punished for playing offline. If online gameplay is struggling, you can still make progress on so much stuff offline. The games actually mean something more than just a distraction from the online issues.

Being able to Evo every card is BANANAS. And one of the things I wanted that I didn't think was actually possible.

Uniforms is a win for me. I don't really wanna make custom jerseys. I always just wanted to use the old school little a Braves uniforms. I'm assuming they are a selected one for the Braves and I can use it now.

There's nothing I saw that I disliked. Which is shocking even to me.

A little torn on Chipper as the MLB collection. He's my favorite player of all time but, in a weird way, it almost feels disappointing (?) that we don't get a brand new legend as that reward. Not a complaint - more just an observation or reaction. That card is the same card as last year's boss, but given the Award series juice which is just a little weird? Regardless. That means I get to use Chipper basically all year and with the ability to upgrade him 5 times, it makes up for barely getting to use his ultimate version the last two years. And I've no doubt that went into the decision to make him the collection.

For my preorder packs, I'm thinking I'll take Hank now that he isn't a collection and Pedro. And first inning seems like an easy Fernando pick. Piazza is tempting and I love Kenny Lofton, but taking the new player is too tempting.
