How do I get 90+ Diamond players?

This is my current lineup. I play DD but only play offline. I've done Conquest, Play vs CPU, Moments, Programs, Topps, Monthly Awards, etc.

    1. Byron Buxton CF - 95 OVR
    2. Adolis Garcia RF - 88 OVR
    3. Justin Turner 3B - 90 OVR
    4. Vladimir Guerrero Jr 1B - 92 OVR
    5. Shohei Ohtani LF - 89 OVR
    6. Paul DeJong SS - 89 OVR
    7. Ryan McMahon 2B - 87 OVR
    8. Ivan Rodriguez C - 93 OVR
    9. Corbin Burnes P - 93 OVR

I haven't done every Conquest and I have only done the AL East Team Affinity. How would I even get a shot to get Mike Trout or Ronald Acuna or even Jacob Degrom? How do people get these players without just buying them on the marketplace?

They buy from the marketplace or get lucky in packs earned from conquest and missions

I don't spend any real money on the game... I just save my stubs... At 330k right now and I don't flip cards or anything really. Saving for trout

Ah okay so there isn't anything I can really do to get those really high end players, just keep trying or save stubs.

The more packs you open, the better. I'm not suggesting you buy packs per se...but try to advance as much as possible in content that has free packs (like earning XP for the inning programs). Team Affinity has "Team Affinity Packs" which are basically like base packs and you can earn them by advancing.

It looks like you're grinding a lot of Moments; and while that's good for getting immediate players, they don't provide many opportunities to get free packs. Your best bet for getting high volume packs is to advance all the way to the end of the 2nd inning....so loads of XP.
Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.

Keep playing and doing the programs they release. You'll earn free packs and cards that way. As the year progresses, the player programs will start spitting out 90+ diamonds. Working on the inning program through the tasks, missions and gameplay will get you good cards as well.

They do a really good job of giving out content just for playing. You'll definitely get better cards as the year goes and power creep sets in.

Also: don't forget about Parallels! As you level up cards and potentially get the max +5, you can turn golds into diamonds and diamonds into better diamonds. Especially when stacked with Inside Edge on live series cards.

I got super lucky on the 10 free packs last week and pulled Acuna Jr.
Same as last year pulling Betts, just got lucky in a free pack.

I bought the Deluxe edition so there's that going for me as for when I started, however I've spent no money afterwards and 99% of my cards are from playing offline modes in Diamond Dynasty. In fact, I'd say a great many of them came from playing and completing the conquest missions. They're super easy to do. I wouldn't do the Pujols one though, that's way too big. Not worth your time.

I pulled Trout out of a Team Affinity pack yesterday morning. Play those missions, brutha!

I head the biggest pack drought in years until last week when I got Cole out of a standard pack en yesterday I got DeGrom out of a Ballin’ pack I earned doing a conquest map.

My best pull playing this game since ‘08.
