Let me ask you this....

If they had dropped the Delgado a week before Rizzo, would you have still ground-out the Monthly program? If your answer is "no", I get it.

But the reality is that a) most people won't get Delgado and b) most people would have ground-out the monthly programs, irrespective of the rewards, for the big collections down the road.

Personally, I am just not connecting the program length with Delgado at all....

I feel the bigger issue is the constant punishment of offline players. Fewer card options and lots of grinding to get them, unless you want to pay up. With stubs you had to grind for. Or pay $ for. Why? If people want to play online - cool. If they don’t - cool. Why incentive one and not the other? I don’t see there being a financial incentive for SDS to do so.

Speaking of these endless grinds - did the Mother’s Day conquest map with a team full of TN and MA cards. Unlocked no new cards in the process.

Unless they want to change the point value, these missions should be set 500 or 700. The flashback and legends missions were 250 and were pretty easy to knock out for silver cards. I don’t think SDS wins in any fashion if people are half-consciously playing on Rookie and getting jaded.

I still wouldve completed the program for the bigger collection down the road, HOWEVER, either they shouldve made the grind not as tedious or have made Rizzo a 95 or 96. No reason why he couldnt have had a 95 or 95 card since Buxton was a 95 lightning last year

Delgado really isn’t offline bs online it’s just buy packs and get lucky, or save stubs and buy off market. And think all the best ways to get stubs are offline.

Not sure what the 8ssue is, with the introduction of the universal DH you can just play Rizzo and Delgado. (with Fielder and Frank Thomas on the bench)

Picking Rizzo for POTM was a very strange decision

They don't...but I want to say this....

There is absolutely ZERO requirement to play on rookie; in fact, grinds can be slower on rookie as higher difficulties are weighted for higher gains. Obviously, you need to assess your own skill so as to not overdo the difficulty to the point where you're not being successful.

It is a USER choice to grind it out on rookie. If people choose to do so; that is entirely on them (for better or worse).

I personally play EVERYTHING on All Star; that is MY choice (which is not better/worse than anyone else's).

But if you treat everything as a grind, it is going to be a grind.

There is also no requirement to finish it right away either. Especially if you are in the Rizzo sucks camp and just doing it for collections. Just play like you normally would, put one or two guys in your lineup and play.

True...but I'll counter with one thing....

There is a fair amount of program XP tied into monthly (the 15k for the collection plus various missions you get XP for that accrue naturally during the monthly program).
