ughh mike trout with the downgrade again. I finally got him to p5

Not even sure who my cf is now, maybe vidal brujan? I wasn't that good with muillins last year so don't know how excited about him I am and I'm not a fan of 70 arm in CF. Hopefully trout gets a ASG card...sucks that I'll have to work from scratch to p5 that one.

bryan reynolds and austin martin I also haven't been super great with

The massive downgrades probably means they're all getting ASG cards that are better than their LS attributes were

I finally took Trout out of my lineup today, replaced him with Betts, who killed it for me in this most recent event. I think he hit over .500 in that.

Betts was my best card last year but haven't tried him yet this year... Pretty sure I was using him at 2b last year

That sucks for the people who P4-5'd the cards and rake with dudes like J-Ram (in my case), who also got clipped pretty good.

They should build in some level of transferability next year. If you P5 the live card, you automatically start at P3 for the All-Star / Milestone / Awards (whatever) card. It could invoke some strategy, like grinding with a mediocre rookie version of Nolan Ryan so you're ready for his 99 No-Hitter card, for example.

I'm 4 tickets away from Brett. Still holding onto stubs, but encouraged by the Live series adjustments ... just biding my time. From now to next week, it's BR for Mullins in the limited time I have.

I definitely think about this game too much when the first thought after seeing Yastrzemski’s walkoff grand slam off Hader is how horrible the moment in the game will be.

It's their way of power creeping the cards, really. If the LS cards were the best cards all year then all the new legends and stuff would fall through the cracks. Which wouldn't be a problem if they knew how to balance attributes but it isn't exactly SDS' best skill.

And personally I disagree with getting early starts on the newer versions of cards. I definitely understand what you mean - I've got Judge, Trout and Acuna working toward P5 and now they're all basically kicked out of a competitive lineup. Last year I had Ronnie at P5 very early and then had to restart with this ASG card. That kinda sucked, but at the same time I enjoyed knowing that was his best version and the time invested felt worthwhile.

Ended up sick AF this week when I wanted to get into BR or Ranked. I don't think playing this game online when sick is good for one's soul as I might actually die. I installed RDR 2 on Series X and it looks amazing and loads so quickly. Then I see Josh on Twitter posting Mass Effect LE screens reminding me I stopped in the middle of my run when The Show dropped.

I'm the world's worst gamer.

NL All-Star cards. I was hoping for Arenado, but happy to see Goldy and not Helsley there. I thought for sure they’d give the Cards 2 crappy relievers 2 years in a row.
