Re: WWE looking to sign another major indie star

FWIW, Pro Wrestling Guerilla tweeted this out earlier tonight; Matthew Riddle will no longer be a participant in the 2018 Battle of Los Angeles. Trevor Lee has now entered the tournament in his place!

BOLA takes place in the middle of September, so I'm guessing Riddle is going to sign sooner rather than later.

He's great. Granted his character there will be plenty of old heads that hate ("King of the Bros") but he can work and he can cut his own promo (at least in his own style.)

Dude just loves weed, which. Whatever. Either he makes it in WWE or he goes back and keeps killing the indies, it's kind of a win/win for him.

It's been reported he's signed, but I need to see the Triple H pic still.

Yep also been reported he will be the crowd shot in Brooklyn. But he has, personally, been very discreet (for the lack of a better term) about the signing. He has kinda refused to comment on the situation because he is scared WWE is going to pull the offer.

Yeah.

Meltzer tweeted that nobody is allowed to say publicly but he has a 3 year deal. Take his word for whatever you think it's worth.
