not sure what he suggested, but OBS and streamlabs OBS could do the trick.



also, i have another question. what determines the initial rankings for each team? is based on the teams overall average rating?

Oh no, DaVinci Resolve is not for capturing video, it’s for editing. Someone suggested OBS, but I max out bitrate and rendering on that and the quality is still subpar. I have an elgato HD60 for my PS4, but I can’t use that for my PC. I tried another one on my PC (forget what it’s called) whose quality was better than that of OBS. I’ll check it out and tell you what it is, but OBS is overall such a better program... if only it wasn’t for the output quality.

EDIT: It’s called Bandicam. The free version has a watermark on top and 10 minute max recordings. I think the paid version is only $40, which I’ll likely buy. Much cheaper than an elgato 4K capture card.

I can capture with OBS and then do the editing in the other software. I have some other stuff that I need to work on with the game before I get to capturing footage.

Would you rather me spend the next 3 days trying to capture footage? or try to add in more plays or help Ridin on rosters.

I’ll likely defer to others, but game excellence should probably take precedence here. I say focus on the latter.

i'd rather you polish the gameplay.

don't take that as a jab. it's not intended to be. i'm pretty excited for this game. i feel the gameplay is what will make or break the success of this game. and based on the trailer, it's going to be good.

i'm just not too sure about the WR/DB interactions and how smooth it will be based on the trailer. it looked like for every pass play, the WR had to stop to catch the ball instead of catch it in stride.

from a defending standpoint, it appears the only animation for him is to stop as well (just like the WR) and jump with 2 hands in the air. i hope that's not the case.

i would suggest a 5 minute "dev diary" that kinda goes into the new animations/interactions, but that would dig into the "capture footage" option.
