And nothing new - Maddens have it (past, and work arounds for the present), NCAA football has it, Axis Football has it, NFL 2k series you could do it, the old original Maximum Football on PC (back in '05 I think) had it - it is a good feature. Some people, like me, like to play their football games more cerebrally - playing as a pure strategy game (as GM and coach) and taking the action reflexes/controller part out of the game. I hope the series see this as something to embrace as an option in the future.
