Re: Arizona Wildcats Legacy - ESPN NCAA Basketball 2k5

The Wildcats come into this game against San Diego in the pre-season tourney looking to rout them and keep on rolling and start the season off right but San Diego had a surprise up their sleeve.

The first half was high-scoring and San Diego was hitting a lot of jumpers as the Wildcats changed from zone to play man to slow them down. Stoudamire started off hot and never looked back as he finished with 34. The second half was when Arizona started to get a cushion of about 8 pts throughout then with 2 minutes to go San Diego made it's final push and they tied it at 99-99 to end regulation. In Overtime, Hassan Adams drove the lane with 10 seconds to go and was about to put up a shot then dished it to Stoudamire opened through the lane and hit a jumper with one second left, the crowd went crazy. Arizona survives 108-106....

Statistics:
H. Adams - 29 Pts, 9 Assists, 9 Rebounds
S. Stoudamire - 34 Pts, 4 Rebounds
C. Frye - 13 Pts, 11 Rebounds
I. Fox - 12 Pts, 7 Rebounds
C. Rodgers - 12 Pts, 11 Assists
M. Shakur - 7 Pts, 2 Assists

Re: Arizona Wildcats Legacy - ESPN NCAA Basketball 2k5

The Coaching Staff was very upset with the defensive effort from the Wildcats in their close win over San Diego and we are trying to fix our problems with a defensive showing against Youngstown St.

The first-half was a half dominated by the Wildcats as they hounded the Youngstown St. Guards and forced them into bad situations and turnovers came early and often. A total team effort on offense in the first half with the ball being spread around and we had a 14 point lead at halftime. 38-24.

Happy with the defensive showing in the first half, Arizona focused on knocking out there opponents and utilizing the fast break. C. Frye established himself downlow the second half and was dominating the Youngstown St. low post men and finished with 21 Pts and 11 Rebounds. Arizona defeated Youngstown St. 77-58.

Statistics:
M. Shakur: 0 Pts, 3 Assits (Foul Trouble)
S. Stoudamire: 16 Pts,2-5 3PT Range
H. Adams: 17 Pts, 6 Assists
C. Frye: 21 Pts, 11 Rebounds
C. Rodgers: 14 Pts, 4 Assists
I. Radenovic: 4 Pts, 8 Rebounds

Wildcats continue the tourney play and will play Michigan next game which should be a good ballgame.

Michigan vs. Arizona

Right from the get go of the game the Wildcats set the pace and were working the ball inside and bruising up the Wolverines. The first half was a back and forth affair and Wildcats gained a 6 point advantage at half.

The second-half was opened up with a 17-6 run by Arizona which was ignited by Shakur's ability to find the open man and he was racking up assists. In the end, Arizona pulls out another one 82-72. Salim Stoudamire led the way with 20 Pts and 7 Rebounds.

Stats:
S. Stoudamire - 20 Pts, 7 Rebounds, 2-6 (3PT)
M. Shakur - 11 Pts, 6 Rebs, 12 Assists
H. Adams - 13 Pts, 4 Rebounds, 2 Assists
I. Radenovic - 12 Pts, 11 Rebounds
C. Frye - 12 Pts, 10 Rebounds
C. Rodgers - 6 Pts

The Wildcats will try to go for the tournament crown as they face off against Providence on there home court.

Re: Arizona Wildcats Legacy - ESPN NCAA Basketball 2k5

Here are the Top Recruits I'm looking at classfied by position...

Point Guard:

Sean Ravello, 5 Star Rating
Top 5 Schools: Ok St., Ariz, Tex, Okla, KU
Off - B, Shoot - A-, Reb - A, Hustle - B?, Leaping, B?, Quickness - A-, Intell -B,
He is considering 2 scholarship offers and probably not in the fold for Arizona anymore.

Ernest Largent however is most likely choosing between Arizona and Ok St. and here are his attributes, were trying to reel him in.
5 Star Player
Off - A-, Shoot - B+, Reb - B+, Hustle - A, Leaping - B-, Quick - B, Intell - A-
His Top 5 Schools: Ok St, Arizona, Utah, Neb, Colo

Shooting Guards:

Jesse Sockwell, 5 Star, Off - B, Shot - B, Hustle - B
M.C. Bauer, 5 Star, Reb - A, Off - B, Shooting - A

Two shooting guards we are looking at so far indepth however we are not sure who we are going after in the SG ranks.

Small Forwards:
Ellis Mouton, 5 Star
Off - A, Shooting - A-, Reb - B, Hustle - B, Leaping - A-, Quick - B, Intell - B
Ellis is the most sought after SF on our list and a lot of teams are interested in him but were in the top 5 now and will continue to pursue him.
Top 5 Schools: Wake,KU,UK,MD,ARIZ

Center:
Shawan Caroll is our number one target and we almost have him reeled in.
Off - B+, Shot - A-, Reb - B, Hustle - B, Leaping - A, Quick - B, Intell - B
He is also a 5 star player...

For now those are the best guys were looking at ill continue with updates if anyone commits to coming to the university.

You should've made a game against Seton Hall after last year's tournament lost.
