Re: Tennessee Titans (Madden 07)

Week 16 Preview: Tennessee Titans (8-6) @ Buffalo Bills (5-9) - Titans win AFC South with win and Colts loss

Keys to Victory

1. London Fletcher-Baker will be all over the place. We will have trouble running up the middle.

2. Nate Clements cuts our field in half. Expect to throw to the other receiver often.

3. We're going to have to keep Takeo Spikes busy. I think we should run at him all game and see if he tires from having to make plays all the time.

What to watch for when Tennessee has the ball:

Despite what the coaches advise him to do, Vince Young hasn't been shy about throwing at one receiver or another based on the defenders. Nate Clements will be on David Givens most of the game, but if Vince is keyed in on Drew Bennett early on, that could change. The Titans will have to be weary of Pro Bowl OLB Takeo Spikes, too.

What to watch for when Buffalo has the ball:

Keith Bulluck left last week's game against Jacksonville after dislocated his left index finger. But he is pretty much 100% and good to go, and the Titans will definitely need him. Willis McGahee has 1475 rushing yards and 12 TDs, and is pretty much the only weapon the Bills have. After J.P. Losman went down with injury, the Bills tanked, as Kelly Holcomb has thrown 9 TDs to 22 INTs.

Quotes

"I couldn't ask for any better position to be in. Final weekend of the season next week, we're at home, and we win the division with a victory. New England is 9-6 too, and still fighting to get in as well, so they'll definitely bring their A game...I gotta make sure our guys are ready to go." - Head Coach Jeff Fisher

Vince Young: I'm trying to be a good teammate...but we had some protection problems out there today.

Re: Tennessee Titans (Madden 07)

Week 17 Preview: New England Patriots (9-6) @ Tennessee Titans (9-6)

-Titans clinch AFC South with win
-Colts clinch AFC South with win and Titans loss
-Patriots clinch playoff berth with win

Keys to Victory

1. The last thing we need to deal with is our quarterback being under pressure all day long. We have to contain Richard Seymour for four quarters.

2. Mike Vrabel is a great OLB. Stay away from him on outside runs.

3. Tom Brady is a great QB. We have to make it a point to shut him down. Lets blitz him constantly.

What to watch for when Tennessee has the ball:

If it wasn't for Vince Young overshadowing him, LenDale White would be receiving Rookie of the Year consideration. The bruising tailback out of USC is 5 yards away from 1000 in his first year, and he is 6th in the AFC with 11 rushing touchdowns. Mike Vrabel has been an all-around performer for New England, with 68 tackles, 5 sacks, and an interception. The Titans are lucky - New England's leading tackler, Strong Safety Rodney Harrison, will miss the game due to an ankle injury.

What to watch for when New England has the ball:

Tom Brady is...well, Tom Brady. Mr. Clutch is headed to the Pro Bowl, but his goal is to get the Patriots back to the playoffs and make a Super Bowl run. The Titans have said they will crank up the pass rush on him, and their leading sack-master, Kyle Vanden Bosch, will lead the charge. Vanden Bosch has 9 sacks on the year.

Quotes

"This really hurts a lot...we couldn't have asked to be in a better position, and to lose in front of our home fans like that...we played on the edge so many times this year, to miss the playoffs like that...I can only hope this disappointment makes this team hungrier." - Head Coach Jeff Fisher

"I'm not used to losing like this...It really hurts. Ya know, I like to consider myself a clutch performer...but Tom Brady...he's the master of clutch, and he gone the job done, and his team's going to the playoffs, and we get to watch instead of play...it's a terrible feeling, but we're gonna be there next year." - Titans' Quarterback Vince Young

"Vince is a great guy, he's learning the pro game so fast...I'd hate to be in that division, that team can only get better, and it might not be long until they're racking up division titles." - Patriots QB Tom Brady
