Looks like my Red Sox took care of business as they usually do against the Orioles! Good luck! Hope you get things turned around and start doing well like at the beginning of the year (remember when you led the AL East). Good luck on your season!

LOL!!! Yeah, I remember. So much for that. At least I'm not the worst team in the league, yet that is. I thought I was going to win that last Red Sox game, up 4-2 heading into the 7th, but Ortiz and Ramirez took care of that idea. My pitching staff is absolutely horrible, especially in late innings. I took a look at my schedule and it doesn't look to promising in the next couple weeks. Looks like it's going to be a long season. After this season, maybe I can get a couple good pitchers on the market, but we'll see. Thanks for your support superjames.

You need to make some sort of move to get some offense. Probably don't have much to trade. You're finding out why the O's are on a steady decline.

Yeah, it's hard being an O's fan anymore, it sucks knowing every year, what your team will put on the field, anyways, losing isn't all that bad, it's how we play the game, right? LOL!!!!

I don't make human trades, it's in my house rules. I only make a trade if the CPU offers me one and I flip a coin to determine if it's accepted or not. I protect one pitcher and fielder at the beginning of the season from any trade. This year it's Erik Bedard and Miguel Tejada. This way, I don't stack my team. I don't want to stack it unless I pick up some big names in Free Agency in the off season, which is also determined by a card system of mine that only replaces the players of those positions that I lose in Free Agency. Here's how I work FA:

-Start at the top of the players who have 0 years left on their contracts. I flip a coin to determine if they resign or not.

-If they resign, I draw a card to determine the amount of years, and the salary moves along with the years. I don't ever change the salary, unless the offer isn't good enough, then I bump it up one by one until they sign.

-If a player is released, I write the position down and when the FA comes around. I draw cards numbered 1-10 and select the player from that position starting at the top. The best players are listed at the top and so on. I don't go further than 10 down from the top because of the lack of experience.

-Whatever players I don't get from FA to fill those positions, I draft that position first, then the cards will select the remaining positions and I take the top guy on the list.
