Philadelphia-In a game in which the 76ers gave it everything they had,the Boston Celtics were just too much as they edged the Sixers at the Wachovia Center 87 to 80 in a hotly contested defensive battle.The Sixers fall to 8 -10 while Boston improves to.After a couple days off,the Sixers play a home and home with the Knicks.Here's the stats.

Philadelphia-In what is becoming a recurring theme and potential season long problem, the 76ers were ice cold from the outside tonight but with the lack of a legitimate inside scoring threat they had no choice but to keep firing and the results were disasterous as the New York Knicks came to Philly and bitch slapped the Sixers to the tune of 120 to 88.Iguodala and Stojakovic combined to shoot 7 for 33 for a measley 17 points.With that kind of ineptitude the Sixers didn't have a prayer.Philly drops to 8 and 11 with a trip to the Garden looming tomorrow night.Here's the stats

New York-Here we go,11 seconds left Sixers lead 91 to 90.Dalembert inbounds to Iguodala and quickly he's fouled by Jamal Crawford.Iggy heads to the line with 9.6 seconds left looking to put the Sixers up by 3.First shot...off the front iron no good.Here's the 2nd ...swish,Sixers lead 92-90.Here we go,Randolph inbounds to Marbury who quickly calls a TO.We're down to 9 seconds left.Crawford has the ball,attempts the inbound..Ollie goes for the steal..He misses Marbury drives the lane,he dishes to Curry he shoots GOOD! and he's fouled.Curry goes to line with 6.5 seconds left and the game tied 92 to 92.Here goes the shot.....He MISSES! Thaddeus Young grabs the rebound and races down the court...can he be a hero.....the shot from just past the elbow......ITS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! SIXERS WIN!!!!!!! 94 to 92.GAME OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WOW! what a game.Nip and tuck the whole way.I yelled so loud when that shot went in that my son jumped 50 feet in the air.Just Incredible.The Sixers and Knicks split the home and home with each team winning on the others court.Here's the Stats

Philadelphia-With the Houston Rockets playing their third road game in four nights and the Sixers full of confidence after their miracle win in New York,the stage was set for a blowout and blowout is exactly what you got as the 76ers destroyed the Houston Rockets 109 to 90.The Rockets never had a chance in this one as they were a step behind all game and the Sixers took full advantage.Here's the Stats

ESPN is Reporting that Toronto Raptors point Guard TJ Ford has developed bone spurs and will miss up to a month and a half

Incredibly,for the second time in two days the Toronto Raptors have lost another key player.This time superstar forward Chris Bosh has gone down with a broken wrist and will miss about a month.The Raptors who are already in last place in the Atlantic division have big problems...
