Netzel makes team, will play limited role

SYRACUSE, NY - Coach Martin announced today that freshman walk-on RB Carter Netzel has made the team and will play a limited role in third down and special teams situations. This announcement comes 1 day before the announcement of the team's Starting Roster for the game against Washington at the Carrier Dome.

Netzel put together a great scrimmage earlier in the year, proving himself as a valuable player on kick and punt returns. He also picked up a crucial third down in the third quarter when the game was tied 17-17. You can see this play below:

Tough first loss of the season. It looks like you may have to try and get some cohesion on offense as you're turning the ball over like crazy. At least you didn't get blown out

Yep, got to find a way to knock off the INTs...A lot of it is me getting back into this after a month of no xbox here...and probably another month before that not playing this game...

Wow, this is EXCELLENT! Please keep it running. I like the idea of using your son, b/c that's the whole premise of my created team. I have my daughter as my kicker (going Gary Barnett, but in a good way). My whole team is my family, friends, co-workers, mentors, etc. A sort of "this is your life" dedication to myself manifested in a football team. I have fun with it. I just play individual seasons rather than a dynasty b/c I don't want to lose anybody to graduation.
