1986 & Beyond: NFL Franchise
What's Up 1986?
Using Madden NFL 08 with baghdadbob's 1986 rosters from football-freaks, I will be reporting from the standpoint of like an ESPN on the NFL. Instead of having one team as "my own". When it comes to the draft what I will do is take say the best Madden generated QB and edit him into the top QB from the 1987 draft (Testaverde). While this will allow for the top players to get matched up with top generated players, it will also mean we wont see any Brett Favre's or Tom Brady's, coming out of nowhere. Either that, or have Brady being a career third stringer, I think this is the better way to go. As for the Texans, Ravens, Jaguars, Panthers, the roster set has made them all cupcakes so every team will have a "gimme win" against any of the four. Before each game involving any of those 4 and any of the real teams, I will save the game and then play/sim the game to make sure no one on the real teams gets injured or anything. Also when I report, I will exclude those 4 as if they don't exsist. So without further adieu, lets get caught up on life in 1986. Major Events
