Dang, the bullpen (Scott Eyre) blew it! It looked like Lilly had a good game, also. Soriano is staying hot for you, as he is for me. And the Astros would have the best record in the NL. Keep it up.

Game Recap:

You know you had a bad game when the opposing pitcher goes 3 for 4 at the plate, contributing to a huge percentage of the teams' runs. Two players were ejected, Mike Fontenot and Daryle Ward for calls at first base, and the Cubs offense was as flat as a pancake. This is another game that pinch hitting has been that always last minute offense, as Derrek Lee came in for two innings and jacked his 2nd of the season. Lou Pinella says he is going to revamp this lineup to a huge degree and that they will not take series losses very lightly anymore. Ken Griffey also hit career HR #599 in this game.

Game Recap:

The Cubs were swept today due to better hitting and actually trying. The Reds outdid the Cubs in every thing you can think of, and because of this, Lou has called at the end of the season, he will join Jim Hendry in the Fire Sale Process. Big day for Adam Dunn with a double, homer, and two RBIs

Ouch, frustrating series against the Reds. Look on the bright side - you play the Pirates next. Good luck, get a sweep of your own!
