Is the summer usually slow?

I feel like the activity in this section has been slowing wayyy down lately. Just curious about how we could ramp it up again..

Yeah, it dies down a lot in the summer. Game releases + new seasons ramp things back up.

So August/September sees a bunch of new NFL dynasties and ~November sees a bunch of new NBA dynasties.

Would love to see more regular activity, but not sure how to incentivize that.

I figured it was a summer thing. There are a bunch of really great stories going on right now. I'm sure when CFB games used to release in July this place probably experienced less of a lull.

i think a lot of us that are/were the more dedicated chisers have gotten older and real life has slowed things down. summers are short around here so it gets hard to justify gaming time when i could be enjoying outdoors.

that, combined with the popularity of youtube style chises and such has hurt overall activity here.

that being said i'm still seeing great chises here, if you're looking for a good read pick a section and sort by posts and read some of the longer ones here

FWIW, the basketball section is popping off, with 10 dynasties receiving updates in the last 2-3 days. It's fun to see all the activity there, and there's a lot of high quality dynasties with their own styles.
