Re: Limits to Player Editing in EA Sports College Football 25 FAQ

I知 ok with not editing attributes, (i致e been around for the days of atari football 3 on 3 and bill walsh college football). i知 used to not editing that, but i do like to have at the very least correct jersey numbers.

This is what I'm wondering as well. In the older versions of NCAA, I'll usually do a UVA dynasty where I would edit and rename around 30 to 40 players on the roster to family, friends, and former teammates.

I wonder about how many created players can we make. I also wonder if there is a way to delete existing players and fill them in with a created player or a generic player (which can then be edited to my liking).

So many questions, but I'm hype for this game!

My guess is, and I hope I'm right, these are just examples of them not adding things to the game they are unsure about and the legality of how all the NIL stuff works is not yet figured out so maybe we'll see it once the abundance of caution is removed.
The issue is that a lot of people stream gameplay or do youtube videos of gameplay. If you have a situation where a streamer or youtube content creator does a video where Quinn Ewers was edited to be a 5'3" weak armed QB, Ewers is not going to be happy about that.

EA doesn't want to rock the boat legally at this point as we are just getting this game back.

I'm thinking that for NIL players, we'll only be able to edit their ratings, no edits to height, weight, face, or hair. I think we'll be able to change their number as in Madden you are able to do that.

Re: Limits to Player Editing in EA Sports College Football 25 FAQ

I have a gut feeling that we'll be able to edit real player equipment and ratings just like in Madden. I find it hard to believe the college players who opted in would be happy about not being able to edit their own ratings and equipment.

However, NBA2K14 on PS4 is a very real reminder that companies love taking away customization in the name of innovation. I would not be surprised if the player customization can only be done in RTG. EA can kick rocks if so.

Talk about a rollercoaster of emotions. From seeing all of the equipment they have in the game to learning that we might not be able to edit it.

I'm a gear head and it would be incredibly deflating if we can't edit gear.

In EA CFB 26 they値l likely have full roster editing, because by that time players will be getting revenue share from schools directly, and will likely have a players Union for EA to cut a deal with. I look forward to that time lol.

Speaking of player edits and ROSTERS. Should I/we be concerned that we haven't heard a word yet about roster size per team?

Please tell me that we aren't limited to 55 players per team still. Frankly, anything under 85 will be a disappointment at this point.
