now that i slept on it

i understand ea point of view but

there are ways both sides could win

how both sides couild win
1 no roster share
2 no steaming

but i think the main issue is if u allow full roster editing schools like ND tulane and Northwestern would opt out

and i know they are scared about streamers but i dont think they realize how long it takes to edit a full 85 man roster it takes 3-5 hr per team and it could be 8 hr per team if u change everything which is 256 hr for 32 teams

only 0.00001 would ever edit a roster that much

i also think Barry Sanders opt out of madden spooked the suits

and my fear is with the high sales of ncaa 25 they might go hey let do this with madden as well because of guys like mavin Harrison jr not being on madden

I want to say I thought the same and it wouldn't make since getting 10,000 opt ins without 85+ roster spots....I'd just like to see something confirmed from someone. I just need to see it to believe it haha

The entire thing, to me, just reeks of EA proceeding with caution, rather than worrying about solid, legal issues that exist. I'd wager this will come back next year and of course they'll talk about how new and great it is, lol

That would be a bad mistake for ND. Cant imagine it would help recruiting, if not outright hurt it. Recruiting is a dirty business, ND would be wise not to give other schools ammo in the recruiting wars.
