Re: Can a friend play against me
I don’t think he could play against you, but I am pretty sure he could play on your team. -
Re: Can a friend play against me
Yeah, I'm not sure if online dynasty is the only way you can add multiple users to a dynasty. Like, in theory, it would be cool if you could have your friend just "join" the dynasty as a user and pick your opponent's team for that week while you play on the couch together -- and then just retire after the game -- but dunno if that's a thing.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join.Comment

Re: Can a friend play against me
Omerta, I posted a similar question on the web a couple months back, just last week someone replied with an idea that might work.
My question (it's a bit deeper than your goal...) I wanted to find out if we can play H2H (subbing for AI teams) to play against each other from our own homes, but work in the same game universe, building up two different programs, trying to recruit from the same pool of players and ideally playing some H2H games each season (IIRC our old system was we'd pick 4 of the AI opponents each season to play against each other, and play any bowl games H2H.)
BTW, my buddy and I met and were room mates during our Freshman & Sophomore years at UF. Go Gators!

Most replies simply said "nope" but last week someone posted this and hopefully tomorrow (when my cheap regular version goes live,) I can test it with the guy who said his work around could work... here's what he wrote:

There’s a work-around for this. Me and my friends have been doing this for years in madden where we switch to a cpu team by retiring the coach. Literally we always play H2H by doing this, and after the game you switch back to your team by retiring the coach. Make sure not to leave the league just retire the coach. All the coaching points and everything are still there when you leave and come back. I would imagine you can do the exact same thing in CF25 online dynasty.
And if you created a coach instead of using the default coach, you might want to consider both making an alternate profile strictly for playing each others cpu games. This way you won’t have your created coach reverted into a default coach when you retire to switch to a cpu team to play each others game that week

I'll update this if/when I get to try it against him. But if you (or anyone else) can test it sooner and update this discussion that'd be awesome too.
Good luck with it!Comment
