Re: Day 1 patch?
Unfortunately it was always rumor that there would be one. Sadly, it looks like while you can stick excellent developers at EA, they're still gonna be forced to "EA" so to speak. Sad that they were forced into releasing 3/5 of a football game this early when it wasn't ready or optimized in any way. -

People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

perhaps it was deliberate, in order to "incentivize" NCAA fans to also
purchase Madden? Other than shiny graphics, why else would any self-respecting football fan still buy that ****Last edited by vinny_b; 07-19-2024, 09:27 AM.Comment

Re: Day 1 patch?
A patch is coming for sure. We just don't know when because we never heard EA speak about a date and time. We all assumed that it would be today because it's always been like that.
Hopefully they are working to drop a patch that covers all of the wide range of issues and hopefully it drops soon."Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Comment

Re: Day 1 patch?
I’d just appreciate some customer communication.
“Hey we heard you EACFB community! We’re working on XYZ things in a patch and will have it out as soon as it’s ready, which is hopefully in XYZ timeframe. (Since we know we oversold the game and convinced most people to spend $70 on a game that only half works even though we had 3+ years to build it without errors).”
Is that too much to ask? To keep your loyal customers informed? I think that’s the most maddening part of all of this. Release a buggy game and then not inform people you have asked to spend $70 when it will be fixed and playable.Comment

Re: Day 1 patch?
Nah, no conspiracy theory. These devs give a damn about the game, and worked hard on this, you can tell. Lot of parts reek of EA though. My only major gripe is the visuals, and it appears they are just supposed to be this way, as any patch including textures would definitely have been out by now. Still a great effort of a gameComment

Re: Day 1 patch?
For those that game a lot….question for you.
If the patch has not dropped by ____ today, it’s not happening. Is it always morning or could it be released in the evening? Does EA only drop patches on Fridays typically or could it be tomorrow? I play Madden some, but that is really the only game I have played over the last few years, so I’m clueless on how patches work.Comment

I can’t even get into the game. Says EA servers are down. I guess some of you still can?

Re: Day 1 patch?
Have the devs or EA responded to any of the feedback since Monday? If not, there are 2 options. They are working hard and have no time, or they have chosen dead silence as response.
We will see what happenes down the line. There is work to be done and issues that can't be ignored.Comment

Re: Day 1 patch?
Folks... Relax!
We have not had college football in 10 years and the hype level has been thru the roof. The game is amazing! Does it have some bugs... duh! Will they get fixed? I believe they will if they can be fixed.
The developers love this game and want it to be the best. They developed this game for you. Of course it is for profit but they could have easily done so much less. But it was for the community.
So let's be patient and stop calling Dynasty crap when it is not. Haters are going to hate just to hate.
I think I speak for the overwhelming majority on here when I say: EA we love what you have done with CF25 and we look forward to any improvements.
