Now, Collins updated to #5, but Greathouse (even though 1 is now open) stayed 19. To make it worse, Faison is still 5, so there's 2 WR with the #5.
I came to say the exact same thing. Making matters worse, they still have 2 guys on the roster that medically retired and switched Rod Heard BACK to 32 (Was 2 before the update).

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it once again. The NIL contracts that all players sign to be in the game in some way or another state the player needs to be ACCURATELY represented in the game, so the players with all the above mentioned issues, their contracts are being violated. But EA is too focused on Travis Hunter and all the many celebrations poses you can do after you score a TD!! But hey maybe they’re not so focused on Hunter either since he has long *** dreads in the game and short ones irl
Being mad about celebrations and saying EA is too focused on them is odd. It isn't like they're actively making and adding new celebrations instead of doing something else.

And then also complaining about focusing too much on one player, when that player hasn't received any special treatment and is in fact also incorrect (which you also pointed out).

This 'stupid' video game sold over 2.5 million copies. It's completely idiotic to opt out of it if they have any interest at all in the NFL, potential NIL deals because of the publicity this game could give them, or just building their personal brand. Literally zero downside, and $600 extra dollars in their pocket. Imagine condescending to me on a subforum dedicated to this 'stupid' video game. Lmao. I hope you can appreciate the irony.

I’m sure he is probably talking about how they are promoting the game on social media and he’s right. Their Facebook and Twitter pages only post that kind of stuff. It’s celebrations, Travis Hunter, and Colorado every post, so I definitely see what he’s saying. All of the replies to them are the things we are saying HERE, but they are never responded to. To make things worse, they don’t even respond to people on their own EA boards. At the end of the day, I think that their lack of communication tends to make things a lot worse than it has to be.

Maybe it’s just me being optimistic, but they still haven’t posted the Top 100 on the ea website so maybe they broke up an update and another one on its way to fix other issues. Either that or they just haven’t updated the website yet.

While I agree with most of your post, and don't see the value of not getting the free money - being in the game has exactly zero impact on their ability to make the NFL. Scouts in the NFL are not using this game as a tool - this isn't the 3rd tier of Belgium soccer using Football Manager - as the NFL is a multi-billion dollar league, and EA's ratings are known to be a joke. Opting in or out will have exactly zero value on if/where players are drafted/signed.

Re: EA Sports College Football 25 Ratings Update

something else i think is new is my depth chart changes were saved when i played an unranked game against a friend. i havent played online against randoms until just now, is the road to the cfb playoff mode the only way to do that? the depth chart went back to default when i tried that unfortunately.
