I have zero idea what it takes to make a video game, or make changes to that video game. I also have no idea what it takes to add something as "simple" (everybody else's word) as user-controlled number editing. I also have no idea what adding something like that might break somewhere else. Hell, we've got a guy in here complaining because the last patch took away Boston College's QB's face picture.

And since I have no idea how any of that works or affects other areas, I'm not gonna be a brat and call these people lazy.

I will also add that yesterday's update is now being advertised (on Instagram by that evil social media team) as the "Top 100 October Update", so they themselves said and confirmed they only updated the players in the Top 100.

I won't ever call game developers lazy, because it's not easy. People can say "Madden does weekly roster updates", Madden has 1/9 of the amount of players, 1/4 of the teams.

I can understand the frustrations, I really can. Is there stuff I wish was better, or different? 1000%. But because they aren't great at communication, we don't or won't know their reasons for doing stuff a certain way.

But it's incredibly childish and entitled to call them lazy because things aren't exactly as you wish they were.

Like everyone was saying before the game released, if jersey numbers and recruit appearances and customization is that important to you, nobody is stopping anybody from playing CFB Revamped.

End of rant. Going back to just reading the thread.

I understand bugs and glitches are not something that I would be able to fix and I will agree that I dont have a clue what goes into making a game either

But...

I do not think its childish to want a player to have their correct jersey number, class, and position. Quite honestly I dont understand how that triggers you to call me entitled? Im entitled for wanting something so basic that you or me could do ourselves?

Yeah, that wasn’t my point at all. You really think I’m saying ratings = draft stock? Man what happened to this forum? lol. Publicity begets recognition, branding, NIL opportunities. Small school guys in particular should never opt out of any potential publicity from this game. I’m done discussing this.

Yeah. That's me. I was considering doing a dynsasy with Boston College. I'm upset that he had the silhouette, they FIXED IT, and then it went back to being a silhouette, again. Why is it an issue to you that I'm upset about that?

Lol it's not.

I used that example because something in an update messed it up. That was my specific example of not knowing how something in an update messed up something somewhere else. It was the first thing to pop into my head when discussing how random things can get messed up in any given update.

I never said you being upset about it was the issue.

Everyone here needs to chill and stop being so defensive. It's a video game. Made by actual people that have lives outside of that studio. Just like you and me.

lol and none of what you just said has anything to do with “wanting to play in the nfl” which your post did. It’s okay to just say “yeah, that part made no sense” because it didn’t.

Weird to ask what happened to these forums about someone's post who was on these forums five years before you were. Strange flex that you have lots of time to post, or something?
