CPU Recruiting Question

In my quest to find the perfect (offline) dynasty - I realize this doesn't exist but nevertheless - I've switched to auto recruiting. I'm not really sure the computer is actually doing any recruiting though. In my second season with Colorado State, I signed five guys. FIVE!

Currently in the third season, hardly any recruiting points have been used. Clearly i must be doing something wrong. Any help appreciated.

It's just broken. Even for CPU teams recruiting isn't great. In Madden I always do auto scouting and it will fully scout like 5 players.

Ugh... I'm glad this game is back - really I am - but there better be a ton of improvements in '26.

Agreed. I don't plan on buying 26 at this point, but will if they resolve a lot of issues. I think they have a memory leak in the recruiting UI. When I start a season and set up my recruiting board, I usually add players to my list and then sort the list after or during scouting when I can better identify my top targets. That list becomes unresponsive after moving a dozen or so players around and you have to leave the recruiting module and then go back in to clear up the lag.



It seems like I find an issue every day that I play. Some are opinions in ease of use, but the CPU not scouting when it is configured to do so is a fairly serious flaw. I also think players signing with you when you didn't give them an offer is too. You are then obligated to keep them on your roster for at least a year and could force you to part ways with a player you'd rather have.
