broke my first controller ever in my history of gaming the other day when I lost to Washington State after pulling off an amazing comeback win at #4 Texas. I kept losing fumbles and every good play I had was called back for holding or clipping.
I squeezed and twisted my PS3 controller until the trigger buttons popped out and the little light on top broke. I tried one more play and instantly had my running back lateral the ball to nobody as the left trigger was somehow stuck in the "on" spot.
Was pretty surprised at myself and took the rest of the night off...I should save that energy for the gym :/
Yup, broke my PS3 controller 2 weeks ago. Threw it against the leg of my couch. It was the combination of Andrew Luck throwing picks left and right against UCLA, and my friends blowing up my phone to bring pong balls to someone's house... smh
haha i thought i was the only one! My girlfreind HATES it that i do this she thinks i need anger management, but im actually a pretty calm guy i gone through TWO remotes this year, and its ALL because of the horrible lineman blocking and me getting sacked 5 times a game and/or losing my QB for the year. Anyways i hadnt had this happen since Madden 05, but two $55 remotes made me learn my lesson already!

i wouldn't have anything valuable within arm's reach when Stanford actually has to play UCLA's secondary this year
I've broken a few controllers in the past. But after having to spend so much money to replace them I stopped. Now I just stop playing and do something else for awhile.
NCAA is the only game I have ever broken a controller on! I just broke one on this years version a few weeks ago. I won't do it again; way too expensive. Over my career at NCAA, I have probably broken 5-6 controllers.
I've got a 360 controller that has the entire bottom busted out of it. Still works, but rumbles like crazy. Pretty sure that was because of NCAA 09. Also broke an Xbox 1 controller (no more joystick cover, just the metal piece), but that wasn't football.
My poor TV remote? I know exactly how every little piece of that thing works due to rebuilding it around a hundred times.

I had a 4th quarter int when dude was on my goaline about to go up by 10, 0:05 seconds left My LB picks it off gets to his 5 yard line, gets tackled by a running back. Controller in 8 pieces. Game lossed. GF questioning my sanity. Out of 30 bucks.
Aiight, raise your hand if you've tossed or replaced your controller. I threw mine into the ceiling fan last night. ALL because of NCAA 11.
lol....sorry for your loss....but that made me laugh. I have a real fluffy/cushiony chair that has caught a flying controller a couple of times, but only while I was playing MLB The Show.
