Interesting List here, at first I was thinking this should be in the CFB forum, but it can actually be a Useful reference for people choosing a program to build up. I Knew duke was bad, but had no Idea they've been the worst team in the entire FBS, that might be a fun program to build on.

yeah Mississippi St. gets has a solid defense but overall gets beat up on by the SEC and BC has some good seasons when they were in the Big East before 2005 so that helped them out

Also, they made the ACC Championship Game two straight years in 2007 and 2008.

You should make three different groups for all those teams. One would be with losing records, the second would be around/ within .500 record, maybe by like ten to fifteen games or whatever people decide on, and then those with dominating records for those people that want to start a dynasty with the horrid teams, then move to the middle teams for a better job, but then land that big job that's been good for awhile. Just an idea.

This is a solid Idea, it would give a good criteria for whats a realistic jump from one Job to another.

                  TEMPLE 38-80 (.322)
                  SMU 38-82 (.316)
                  NEW MEXICO ST. 36-85 (.297)
                  UNLV 35-83 (.296)
                  FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL 24-58 (.292)
                  VANDERBILT 33-85 (.279)
                  IDAHO 32-88 (.267)
                  ARMY 31-88 (.260)
                  UTAH ST. 30-86 (.258)
                  BUFFALO 30-89 (.252)
                  WESTERN KENTUCKY 11-37 (.229)
                  EASTERN MICHIGAN 26-91 (.222)
                  DUKE 22-95 (.188)

There are the splits imo. I didn't realize Arizona was that bad. I realize the split between the top and middle have some similar records but in terms of prestige and jumping from school to school I threw some of them into the middle programs.

its a little bit deceiving because you also have to take in consideration what conference that team is in...... teams like duke and miss. st. are by no means the worst teams in college football but have are in tough conferences
                    From 1983-1996 Miami went (144-24)

-5 time National Champions (the same as Florida and Florida State.....COMBINED)

Exactly. Duke could probably beat Western Kentucky or Eastern Mich.

WKU had 2 wins last year, losing to them is just bad. EMU was winless, I believe

I wish EA would take a look at this. Unless a "non-AQ" school is not in everyone's preseason top 25 then they are lucky to get a C+ overall rating. Teams like Hawaii(.654), Fresno State (.625), Northern Illinois(.588), Southern Miss(.582) have been consistant year in and year out but are still given lower ratings than BCS programs like Baylor(.330), Indiana (.347), Vanderbuilt(.279), and I think even Duke had a C+/B- at (.188). Sure they play tougher schedules and usually have higher rated recruiting classes, but if you line up one of those non-aqs with the listed bcs programs the non-aq would be the favorite to win.

I would just like those high end "non-AQ's" to have decent ratings and be able to be competitive with in online games as the ratings don't really mean a whole lot outside of that IMO.

I agree with the point about raising teams like hawaii, fresno st., northern illinois, southern miss (which ive gone too), etc but dont think teams like baylor, indiana, vanderbilt, and duke should be lowered because of their recruiting classes and tough schedules

Perhaps another statistic that could be very useful would be to put each teams conference next to their name and also that conferences win/loss ratio so we can see just how hard or easy their schedules have been.
