Blurry Effect!

I'm trying to figure out if its my tv or the game, but when the background is black, everything has a blurred effect, the player, txt, etc. Hurts my eyes. Last years version didnt do this. Just curious if anyone else has this problem and if they are going to post a fix for this or if its just my tv, which i seriously doubt because i've never had this problem before with any game.

Yeah, it's supposed to be like that. The developers probably thought it was a cool effect or something.

There have already been numerous threads on this issue. It is a presentation effect done by EA. Not a glitch, not your TV. Unfortunately there is no way to turn it off.

It makes recruiting almost unbearable as the effect hurts my eyes and gives me a headache after about 8 or 10 minutes.

Just another example of terrible execution. I have no idea how something like that makes it past even prelim product dev.

It's not a glitch.. It's a zoom blur effect they added on and they thought it looked good. There's nothing we can do about it now so why complain?

can you believe someone on the dev team was sitting at their desk and thought to themselves

"gee, how cool would it be to make the letters blurry, they'll love this"

.. and even worst.. the team leader replied: "yeh ur right!!"

lol.......really? Its apparent that its done on purpose as if it looks cool.

Implementing something graphically as asinine as this pathetice blur effect is laughable. In addition, its actually really hard to look at and isn't very friendly on the eyes at all. Funny story......I had a rough night on Monday and was a little hung in the a.m. on Tuesday and picked up the game and fired it up and saw that blur effect and immediately told myself I was never gonna drink again..........lol I thought my eyesight was shot from the night before.

Wait what are we talking about here?
I thought he meant like in the instant replays and they'll have the focus on just the WR and everything else blurred?

Or is there something else too?

The player screens in recruiting- much of the text has a blur effect to it. Someone at EA thought it looked cool, but for some of us it seems to cause a bit of undue stress on the eyes.

I agree. The text is painful. The best text that EA implemented was in NCAA 07. It appeared to have been written which gave it an academic look. The blur is destracting and annoying.

The game is sweet, though. I know there are some issues but EA did a great job ladt year responding to issues well before Sept.

While i was recruiting i kept cleaning my glasses and i was like WTF....why do my glasses keep blurring up....then i looked closer and was like oooooohhhh...but still wtf. hahaha
