Re: Trucking???
There appears to be no trucking this year, you used to push the right analog stick down as you went into a defender to blow through him with a power back, but it virtually never works this year. -
Worked once for me this year. I was shocked to see it.CFB: Ohio State, FSU

If you can't tell I LOVE DUKE!!!!!!!!Comment

Re: Trucking???
yeah, it's pretty much broken this year. i created a 6-6 240lb. halfback with 99 trucking and strength and he still gets clobbered by small cb's. comparing heavy players to light players, the momentum is actually worse this year than it was last year.Comment

I think you have to trigger the move when further away from the defender than in previous years. Though that's just a guess, with Florida's demps I never really bother trucking!Comment

Re: Trucking???
Start further our, and lean so the ball us tucked away and you hit him with the shoulder opposite the ball hand.Comment

Re: Trucking???
I usually use the Right shoulder button combined with the right stick. Might be a placebo but it seems to work.
The right shoulder button is used to cover the ball so the Running Back will cover up and lean a little bit, then I press the right stick up. Atleast it looks like he's trying to truck lol.Comment

Re: Trucking???
Lower tackle slider to 0. That is about the only way you will get any kind of physics and momentum in this game. It was the same way last year.
With tackle slider at 0, weight actually matters.Comment

Re: Trucking???
By doing this would that result in a ridiculous amount of broken tackles?Comment

Re: Trucking???
Mmm, strange. I have trucked many times with TENN HB Poole. You just have to hold the right stick up soon as the defender squares up to tackle you (if that makes sense) Dont just push it up and let go, you have to hold it in.
Also, you lean by pushing the right stick UP-LEFT if the defender is coming to the right side of you, and UP-RIGHT if hes coming to the left of you. This will also cause a big back to tumble over a smaller defender even if you are tackled. Hope this helps!Comment

Re: Trucking???
Actually, with tackle sliders low (I don't have mine @ 0 but 5 and 10) you do see some broken tackles. But you also see a ton of gang tackling. To the point that it seems realistic IMO. Also, the broken tackles do not result in TD's as one would think.EXPERIENCE MAYHEM FOOTBALLComment
