Fun stuff to try?
After getting this game on release day and promptly playing it for 150 hours, I'm starting to get bored. I need some refreshing things to do. So far I've tried to get every rivalry trophy, done two dynasties, started some traditions in those dynasties, played online, messed with slider, and done two RTGs (not my cup of tea). As you can see I obviously really enjoy the game, so I'm not trying to knock it or anything, I just need some ideas of somethings to do. So... any ideas?Tags: None -

Re: Fun stuff to try?
Since I'm waiting for the patch before I start my real dynasty, I decided to do a conference draft. I took 8 conferences with the highest prestige (c-usa, MWC, and the BCS conferences) and basically did a fake draft with all the teams. Each conference drafted 12 teams, snake format, with their first pick going to one division and their next pick going to the other, back and forth. The rest were distributed between the MAC, WAC, and sunbelt (with lowly eastern michigan as the independent, just because it's required). It's just kinda interesting to see the whole thing play out. I'm simulating seasons and I just chose to control Alabama to make sure I don't get fired (I'm not controlling anything for them except changing positions and cutting players). Through four seasons, there has been four different national champions, and alabama was not one of them.
Some of the results have been pretty funny so far. The SEC for example has had four different conference champions... Michigan, LSU, Oklahoma State, and most recently... Ohio. Not Ohio State, but Ohio. Every conference has at least 2 or 3 very talented teams to start with, so seeing some of these crappy teams rise up is pretty cool.
Anyways, just something that's a little different if you want to try it.Comment

I went from lowest to highest prestige... C-USA, MWC, Big East, ACC, Pac-12, Big XII, Big 10, SEC. At least I'm pretty sure that's the order I used. I started it a couple weeks ago, got bored for a while, and then just started the fifth season today.Comment
