I wish the recruits were more realistic re: race/home state

Shouldn't the recruits from states like Idaho, North Dakota etc be mostly white? In my dynasty I just looked at Wyoming and every single prospect of their 8 prospects was black. That doesnt make sense. Some things they should add to the game-

1)Recruits ethnicity should reflect the demographics of the state they come from. I'm surprised they didn't do this as they have made sure that no CB's are white and very few RB's are white.
2)White recruits shouldn't have traditionally black first names like Jamar.Its just not realistic.
3)What about Samoan recruits?One of the things that differentiates alot of these West Coast teams is that they tend to have a lot of Samoan players.
4)Ethnic last names that are common to a state/region. If you're recruiting players from Pennsylvania or New York you should end up with a lot of "Ski's" on your team. Louisiana recruits should have some recruits with names of French origin and so on and so forth.

Speaking of Samoans... they don't have any samoan hair in the game. They only have one face with dreads... they could at least throw in one face with samoan hair.

I've never created players before-say theres about 2000 recruits per season and I create 2000 will there be 4000 recruits available or will the created prospects fill the CPU generated prospects place?

I agree with the prospect names point you made. Demographics doesn't really matter to me as much... but wouldn't mind seeing a bit more realism there as well.

The game gives you the ability to edit these things and everything. If it bothers you that much, then you can edit to your heart's content. But I for one, don't want the developers wasting their time on those kinds of algorithms.

If you want white corners, just make the one or two white athletes you recruit into corners. There are plenty of white athletes during recruiting. More realistic would be having a state like Wyoming with specific position tendencies. As in, I don't think a state like that (doesn't seem to have big time skill players) has that much of a diversified list of positions for recruits. I'm probably wrong though.

More so with Hawaii. There should be quite a few polynesian players from in state.

And for Texas recruits there needs to be more guys named "Colt", "Tyler" or "Dodge".

When I first read the topic I was like "Uh oh"...but this stuff actually makes sense and adds a little bit more realism...especially with names reflecting certain regions of the country.

Yeah it doesn't make sense that in Year 5 of your dynasty there is not going to be a single polynesian player on Hawaii. I think in my dynasty I'm going to start making 50 or so samoan recruits and spread them throughout Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, and Utah.
