Who cares about individual team enterances when a full back with a 98 overall rating cant manage to block the man in front of him?

Who cares about custom playbooks, if they dont work?

Who cares about the new blocking AI if All American linemen with 95 overalls literally let defenders walk right past them?????

How in the hell does EA ship this game SO FREAKING BROKEN!!!!!

Sack the quarterback and it counts as a tackle for a loss?!?!?!

QB's with 99's straight across the board either throw straight bullets 6 feet off the ground so LB's swat EVERYTHING!!! or throw ducks in the air that wobble into three deffenders...

Why bother having a Throw Power stat if all QB's throw the same f'ing velocity?!?!?!?!?! sure if a Qb has a 80 ovr throw power the yea lobs are gonna happen, but when he has a 99 ovr throw power and I supposedly bullet the pass in he throws it 10 mph, add the CB's that "warp" in front of the wide open recivers, and this game has NOTHING TO DO WITH SKILL, AND EVERYTHING TO DO WITH IF THE COMPUTER DECIDES IF YOU WIN OR NOT!!!!!

Reading defenses mean nothing!!!! cause if the comp wants the interception it will have a LB jump 10 feet in the air, or a CB warp THROUGHT your WR or just have your fullback stop right in front of your running back to get laid the F out!!!!

All of the youtube video's out there, all of the forums on here... how many patches are we into and still there are no changes to the BASIC gameplay?

Because this game is raking in cash regardless. Sales for 12 increased 17% from 11, so as far as HAUMILLER & Co. are concerned, you can take your complaints and...well lets just say you wouldn't walk right afterward.

Linebackers & Corners have always pulled off miracles not fit for reality with this game. That's not new... nor do I ever think they'll fix it until they try out a new engine.

I giggle when I see rants like this in November. We've been trashing this game for four months now. Your hellfire isn't going to change anything. A lot of it's warranted, some of it's a little overblown... but creating your own thread for it is getting old. Just go back a few pages, you'll see countless example of this exact thread over and over again.

Ea has killed video game football...sales maybe up but the game still isn't fun for all the reasons posted. I agree 100%. The future isn't very bright either, I see no hope on this gen hardware and when next gen drops and they start the whole development process over again by stripping the game down then sprinkling in all the "new" features that have already been introduced on previous gen consoles then convincing us how cool they are...I'm pretty much done with ea's dog and pony show.

4 patches..
The second patch broke the no-huddle, third fixed second's mistake (which would've EASILY been found with 10 minutes of testing, fourth patch did nothing to game play.

They can't even fix the game without breaking something else, they've even admitted that. Whatever happened to taking pride in your own work nowadays?

they talk about testing games before they go out... how do they ship a game like this? i mean seriously? New Features they tout for months that didnt even work when it shipped? (custom playbooks)

I want a job at EA sooo bad, I might not know how to code but I could tell them how fix there problems, makes you wonder what these "testers" actually do....

Well, I thought the GameChangers program were the 'testers' but it seems I've been mistaken. No offense to any of them but they seem to just be more pieces to the hype train. Most are owners of their own sites and all of them gave the same 'NCAA '12 is going to be the greatest game ever' talks. Most of them had the game fairly early and none of them reported any of this to my knowledge because it never made it into the patches until the NCAA community as a whole reported it.

Yeah, we can blame the devs but the reached out and created a program to help avoid some of these things. Now I'm not saying blame the current GCs but maybe EA should expand on the program by a couple hundred people instead of the 'less than 10' group they have now. Pretty sure we could get a ton of people willing to test their game for free if that meant getting it early.

It is possible that they are doing great testing. The issue is WHAT are they testing. Do they have test plans? Testing is useless if they are not testing the right features of the game. Do the GC's list what they test? I'd like to see it...and change it.

you guys are confusing the process. They have huge groups of people who test these games. this one in baton rouge. they find hundreds of thousands of bugs each year. I remember a few years ago it was over 300,000 bugs addressed before we got the game. Now is this the programmer fault or the original team that designed this gen for madden and ncaa but no matter. You dont want to work for them because they don't sit there and play the game they try and break it and write down everything they do. Example: Inserted disc-Pressed Start-selected practice mode-used custom playbook-NO OFFENSE ON FIELD==will try to replicate this not using custum playbooks. That sucks right? now maybe this group of ten guys are the gameplay testers and if so they missed some big ones. But with so many bugs the 10 to 20 we get ruin the game for us but to them maybe it was a victory. Well, with exception to this year. They don't care about the money, they know they dropped the ball. If you interested in helping then try to get on the community team that goes and visits and plays the game early. these guys act tough but suck the *** of the ea guys when they get there. a few of them bust the hard questions on them but most are just thankfull to be there. This is a real that you can make a difference in. But truthfully i think that this gen is just screwed by the original base of the game that was made. It was too early in the cycle of this gen and the tools they made it on were not as good as what microsoft has out now. They just layer junk on top of junk. I wish so bad that presentation guys would stop with asking for it. We cant even get pass interference calls. Wasnt the jostle system from fifa supposed to be in this year. THe recruit generator is terrible now. No medical redshirts which we had on last gen. pass trajectory is garbage. and with all the tweaking to make the head to head games more fair you have ruined some of the real football that this game had. example: a few years ago you removed the run slide blocking athough this allowed the user to use a zone blocking scheme. and this year with the the no audible during motion or snapping the ball during motion. whey remove these????? they are part of football. this was done for the head to head gamers. this is not madden. we play Online dynasty's here. the LB's dont bother me as bad because I have removed that with my sliders but im sure its a pain for head to head games but the passing has no touch which makes the lb's jumping even more a pain.

so a little rant there but I agree withmost points, and im not or never at this point defend tiburon but they are building crap on crap and cant fix the issues with implementing it. I mean the damn menu lag is frustrating as anything. And don't forget guys that this happened last gen also. the last few games that game out on ps2 and xbox before the new gen came out all had fatal bugs. 06 was very good but had issues. 07 I think was the angle issue game. 05 was messed up but don't remember how. I remember everyone's loved 04, you couldn't even throw a out route and the ai was so terrible they couldnt beat you no matter what sliders which made anything but head to head pointless. but as soon as the next gen came out the versions on ps2 got so good. maybe even the best to this point. the team switched to the new version so they only worked on game play and minor things like, medical reshirts, stats for high school players in there senior year which where kept track of while the season went on, qb avoidance stick which was cool but implemented kinda ****ty, two man gang tacklling and they started to add all the premotion plays that the new gen had and worked much better on old gen. maybe we will see a repeat but to me this is nothing new. the root of the prob are the producers of madden and ncaa and then the focus of the community to add things better presentation. Im on board the fix the game play side before anything else at this point.

How about a user pancake block registering as a stat for users Tiburon???? I know Ben knows all about pancakes. Just get whats already in the game to work please.

I'm not speaking against the validity of the complaints; I have them, too.

However, bitching and complaining HERE is not going to do anything. If the admin here would allow it, organize a campaign that includes creating replies at as many of the sites that have reviews, detailing the list of issues that this game has, that previous games have, and that as a result the next game is expected to have. Prepare a flyer to be distributed at all of those midnight release parties (if the stores will allow it, especially since you'll be cutting into their business, not profits, but business).

This kind of thing will give those who do not visit sites like this one something else to think about as they're considering purchasing this game. It would be an attempt to convince the average NCAA Football game purchaser (which, admit it, we're not) that they should not buy an unfinished product. It will attempt to hit EA where it counts, in THEIR profits.

Not saying that was the GC's purpose or not but thats the understanding I had. With on the pre release embargoes EA has on them I'm pretty sure they couldn't list it anyway.

Thats not a very good idea either. Once most people find one fault with a game its all downhill from there. If the guys complaining about this game rated it the score would be about a 0 to 3 out of 10.
