So I just finished my 4th year as Kentucky's head coach and I had 11 Seniors that were rated between 91 and 98, yet only 5 were drafted. Let me explain this further... I had a Senior CB who was rated as a 98 overall. He had 99 speed, 97 acceleration, 99 Man coverage, 98 Zone coverage, 93 Play Recognition, 95 Awareness and 67 tackling, which, for a CB, is pretty darn good.
Yet he went undrafted! How does this happen? I had a right guard who had 96 pass blocking, 94 run blocking, 95 impact blocking and 97 awareness yet he was undrafted too!
Is EA's draft logic broken? This hurts me because instead of 11 players being drafted I only had 5 get drafted and only one in the first round.
I'm sitting here thinking that if there's a CB in the upcoming real draft, and that CB was as good as mine was, he'd be a Top Ten pick for sure. Oh... he also won the Heisman as a Junior! Yes, my defensive back won the Heisman. Reminds me of Charles Woodson, who went number 4 to the Oakland Raiders. So how does my guy not get drafted at all???
If their draft logic is broken then I can accept that and move on, but this is making no sense at all to me.
